Solar Parks Powered by Meka Giga Park

Large solar parks require durable and cost-effective mounting solutions. Meka now offers a high-quality and exceptionally durable product: Meka Solar Giga Park. Our new available products, Meka Solar GP11 and Meka Solar GP13, are designed to withstand strong winds and heavy snow loads. The material used is Finnish XPG structural steel rated for C4 environmental stress class. The mounting systems are highly user-friendly in terms of installation. Meka Solar Giga Park mounting structures are project-based products and an excellent choice for large-scale solar parks.

Meka Solar Giga Park mounting systems are made from domestic XPG structural steel rated for C4 corrosion class. They are highly user-friendly and designed to withstand demanding solar park conditions, such as strong winds and heavy snow loads.

Mounting Dimensions and Flexibility

Solar parks are typically built using a few standard-sized mounting types, most of which are maximum-sized. If needed, the structure can be halved to match the installation field dimensions. Meka structures can accommodate panels of 1134 mm (GP11) and 1303 mm (GP13) width, as well as other widths thanks to stepless adjustment. Panel configurations can be, for example, 2×26 or 2×28. These halves form functional pairs with full-sized structures. When determining the size of the structure, the maximum voltages of panel strings are considered based on the inverter type.

Advantages of the Meka Giga Park Mounting System

The Meka Giga Park system is simple and efficient. The pile and leg spacing is always 3.0 meters, making measurements and installation steps easy. There is wide adjustability in all directions. Cable routing, piping, grounding, and mounting options for inverters and junction boxes are excellent.

Foundation Options

There are four foundation solutions available for Meka Solar structures.

1. Anchoring to Concrete or Bedrock

2. Anchoring with Ground Screws

3. Piling with Integrated Foot Piles

4. Piling with Separate Piles

The structure is compatible with all foundation types; if a change is needed, the foundations are interchangeable.

Ease and Efficiency of Installation

The Meka Giga Park product has a minimal number of parts. No prefabrication is required, eliminating space, tool costs, and bottlenecks during construction. Installation requires only one type of bolt for all connections. The process is fast, parts are lightweight and can be installed solo. Lightweight parts are especially important for soft fields and manual installation.
There is wide adjustability for both the foundation and the straightness of the structure. Special adjustment ends ensure that panel alignment starts straight without needing to cut parts.

Internal Logistics and Panel Installation

Internal logistics in the solar park can be managed cost-effectively, for example, using an ATV with structure-specific loads. Installing solar panels on the Meka Giga Park structure is extremely fast. No telehandler, lift, or rental equipment is needed. Panels are always installed from below, ensuring the panel surface remains intact. Installation speed is unmatched. Second clamp fasteners ensure rapid installation even in cold and dark conditions. There is wide adjustability for both the foundation and the straightness of the structure. Panels are always installed from below, significantly reducing the risk of damage to the panel surface and improving installation safety.

Cabling and Delivery

DC cabling is done on the lower horizontal beam of the structure. There are no obstacles during cable installation. The cabling process is clear and can be easily motorized. Deliveries can be tailored to the site’s production capacity on a weekly load basis. As a result of the development of the racks, transport costs have also fallen significantly.

NEW PRODUCTS

Meka Solar GP11

Mounting for 1134 mm wide panels, available in configurations: 2×32, 2×26, 2×16, 2×13, and 2×8.

Meka Solar GP13

Mounting for 1303 mm wide panels, available in configurations: 2×28, 2×14, and 2×7.

The choice of structure depends on the inverter solution (string or central inverter) and the maximum voltages of the panel strings.
