KS20 K has been fire tested to class E90 when installed according to Meka’s installation instructions.

Meka’s KS20 K is a little giant in cable ladders for commercial building technology solutions for indoor and outdoor use when climate stress class C1 or C2 is sufficient. The ladder shelf is made of hot-dip galvanized steel.

An open side profile allows for internal mounting. KS20 K has been fire tested to class E90 when the span is max. 1.5 m and the load is max. 15 kg/m. KS20 K is compatible with KS20 and KS60 systems. The ladder shelf is suitable for use in places such as shopping centers, offices, schools, and educational institutions.

SSR PG compatible

The KS20 K system is compatible with the proven quick-install SSR PG extension. In the SSR PG extension, the screws are pre-attached, which speeds up the installer’s work.

How to Read Load Diagrams

1. Testing method compliant with IEC 61537 type 3.

2. Product deflection in millimetres.

3. Product load in kilograms per metre.

4. Span used in testing, in metres.

5. With a load of 70 kilograms per metre and a span is 2.5 metres, the product will deflect by 6 millimetres.

The safe workload (SWL) has been tested with a calibrated testing device. This testing method is certified according to the standard IEC 61537. The joint is at a 1/5 distance of the support and the deflection was measured at the midway point between the supports. SWL is a load that creates a deflection of 1/100 in the span, or if a 1/100 deflection is not achieved, it is the force that creates a permanent deformation divided with the safety factor, which is 1.7.
