MEKA® Data Model Collection Builds Up
The use of building information models (BIM) aims at controlled decision-making and simplified communication between stakeholders.
The data model allows the design team to ensure that space allocations are sufficient and installations are feasible.
The effects of the changes can be advantageously tested in a digital environment before being transferred to a construction site, and the changes made to the plan are, of course, reflected in all views and lists simultaneously.
MEKA® data models now in AVEVA
Aveva Projects 2.1.0.32 Full Release 53199 is now out and includes, for the first time, MEKA® data models for industrial cable ladders, covers and bottom plates, as well as the most typical supports and joints.
Other MEKA® BIM libraries
MEKA® Autodesk REVIT® models have been available for download since 2019.
The CADMATIC data model library was updated earlier this year and now includes all the most typical MEKA® cable management systems.
