Atmospheric-Corrosivity
Category (C1–CX)
Determining a site’s atmosphericcorrosivity
category helps to choose the appropriate material and surface treatment for the cable management system. See pages 10 and 11 for the atmospheric-corrosivity category table with explanations.

Cable Load (kg/m) and Span (m)
Distance between supports (span) should
be defined according to loading and deflection in the middle of span. Stronger
product and lower weight allow longer
spans but higher load requires shorter
spans. The right calculation and selecting
a suitable product give significant
efficiency in costs.

Fire Resistance Requirements of the System
Fire-resistant installation of MEKA®
products is carried out with separate
instructions. The instructions can be
downloaded at www.meka.eu.
Product width, span, maximum load and
the installation method are limited
for fire-resistant installation.
Approved installation methods are set for
each product family separately.
